Russell Baxter Memorial Cup Boys under-18 novice double

Awarded at Maadi (National Champs) since 2014 to the winner of the Boys under-18 novice double, the Cup is currently held by St Peter's School [STPC].

The St Peter's School crew won the event in 2015 by less than a canvas from Huanui College [race results].

A brief history

Presented by the Baxter family in memory of Russell's involvement with rowing and his love of Maadi. Russell was the person instrumental in introducing and developing the filming and broadcast of Maadi regattas. Russell died in October 2013.
