The repechage races began on Tuesday at 12:00 P.M. Day one of repechages took in events 1-21 and ended early enough to allow a spell of training afterwards. The remainder of the repechages (events 22-42) are took place on Wednesday. The crews for finals in 36 events are now known.
The semi-finals races on Thursday saw some very close competition on the water, suggesting we're in for some good finals. Also on Thursday was the coxswains race, completed with a wonderful field of 29 crews. There were few collisions and it appears some of the crews had been training! A coaches race held with a mixed field of boats provided a good demonstration for their crews on the bank.
