T & C The great T-shirt competition

Brought to you in 2008 for the very first time by South Island Rowing Inc the 2008 Aon Maadi Cup regatta included a competition for the best school T-shirt. The prize was a Concept 2 rowing machine.

  1. The prize is a new Concept 2 rowing machine and includes the cost of shipping the rowing machine to the winning school.
  2. The competition is open to all the member schools of the NZSSRA that are entered into the 2008 Aon Maadi Cup regatta. Only one entry per school is allowed.
  3. Entries take the form of a sample of a T-shirt that is being worn by representatives of the school during the regatta. The name "Maadi" should be included on the T-shirts. Aon is the principal sponsor and a generous supporter of the "Maadi" regatta and schools should recognise this by including the name "Aon" on their entry e.g. as in "the 2008 Aon Maadi Cup regatta".
  4. To enter the competition schools must present a sample of their T-shirt to the Row Shoppe in the Solveig MacRae Building (Lake Ruataniwha). All accepted entries will be put on display during the regatta and may be shown on the regatta websites. Schools may reclaim their entry after the winner has been announced.
  5. A three-person judging panel will be appointed by SIRI to determine the winning entry. The judging panel also has the right to reject any entry on any grounds. The decisions of the judging panel will be final and without appeal.
  6. Entries close 11:00am on Wednesday, 2 April 2008. At least 20 entries must be accepted in order for the competition to proceed.
  7. The winning school will be announced during the Accolades at the conclusion of the regatta.
