Gill Trophy Boys under-18 novice fourAwarded at Maadi (National Champs) to the winner of the Boys under-18 novice four, the Trophy is currently held by St Peter's College [STPA]. The St Peter's College crew won the event in 2015 by about half a length from Hamilton Boys High School [race results]. Russell Baxter Memorial Cup Boys under-18 novice doubleAwarded at Maadi (National Champs) since 2014 to the winner of the Boys under-18 novice double, the Cup is currently held by St Peter's School [STPC]. The St Peter's School crew won the event in 2015 by less than a canvas from Huanui College [race results]. Full event results are available for: 2014, 2015. A brief historyPresented by the Baxter family in memory of Russell's involvement with rowing and his love of Maadi. Russell was the person instrumental in introducing and developing the filming and broadcast of Maadi regattas. Russell died in October 2013. Alan Tong Cup Boys under-18 novice eightAwarded at Maadi (National Champs) since 2016 to the winner of the Boys under-18 novice eight, the Cup is currently held by St Peter's School [STPC]. The St Peter's School crew won the event in 2015 by less than a canvas from Huanui College [race results]. A brief historyDonated by the Tong brothers in the name of their father: Alan. All 3 of Alan's sons have had a life-long involvement in rowing, thanks to their father. The Tong brothers are currently coaching school crews in Auckland, Hamilton, and Wellington. Mexico Olympic Coxed Four Cup Boys under-18 novice eightAwarded at the North Island Champs to the winner of the Boys under-18 novice eight, the Cup is currently held by Hamilton Boys High School [HAMB]. The Hamilton Boys High School crew won the event in 2015 by less than a canvas from Sacred Heart College (Auckland) [race results]. The Waikato Diocesan School crew won the event in 2015 by about 4.75 lengths from Christchurch Girls High School [race results]. A brief historyDonated by Sacred Heart College (Auckland) Parents Committee in honour of Brother Terence Costello. An NZSSRA Life Member who has had a long involvement with coaching and running rowing at Sacred Heart College Auckland. Brother Terence was also instrumental in getting the Novice Eights on the school regatta programme. Martin Hyde Cup Girls under-18 novice doubleAwarded at the North Island Champs to the winner of the Girls under-18 novice double, the Cup is currently held by St Peter's School [STPC]. The St Peter's School crew won the event in 2015 by less than a canvas from Waikato Diocesan School [race results]. Full event results are available for: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015. Keith 'Hibbo' Hibberd Plate Girls under-18 novice quadAwarded at Maadi (National Champs) since 2021 to the winner of the Girls under-18 novice quad, the Plate is currently held by St Peter's School [STPC]. The St Peter's School crew won the event in 2015 by less than a canvas from Waikato Diocesan School [race results]. A brief historyThe original Keith 'Hibbo' Hibberd Plate was donated for Girls Lightweight Double Sculls. But when NZSSRA ceased lightweight rowing that plate was retired and re-issued for the Girls Novice Coxed Quadruple Sculls Other trophies
